These last two days I did a talks for “Ungdomsringen” on teens and media. The listeners all work with young kids, and are very interested in discussing this subject. As always my approach was very pro media. Ofcouse I believe there should be some protection of children in some situations. But I am against restriction and much more for communication between the online and offline generation. Guidance,,, driving license to the crazy internet world. It is kind of hard to learn to drive if your teacher doesn’t know anything about the car. I think some people were a bit provoked and worried I was representing commercial interests, since I was so pro internet and mobile phones 
Fact is I have been this for a looong time. One lady was very worried about the effect all these big corporations have on the youngsters. “Disney should be punished” she said. Without really having a suggestion to what kind of punishment the father of Mickey Mouse should suffer.
But the most important thing was that there was a good debate going, and that is what I really wanted to see.
